Course Description

This course is designed for nurses working in the field of assisted reproductive technology (ART). It covers essential concepts in infertility, including emerging causes such as chronic endometritis, adenomyosis, and male infertility. The course will also explore seminal fluid analysis, sperm selection methods, DNA fragmentation, oocyte freezing, and ART stimulation protocols. Nurses will gain valuable insights into ART practices, including legislative updates and laboratory aspects, while engaging in discussions to enhance their understanding and patient care skills.

Course Objective
  • Understand emerging causes of infertility relevant to nursing practice.
  • Learn the role of seminal fluid analysis and sperm selection technologies in ART.
  • Understand the impact of DNA fragmentation in sperm on fertility treatments.
  • Gain knowledge of oocyte freezing techniques and ART stimulation protocols.
  • Stay informed on legislative updates and laboratory practices related to ART.
  • Enhance ability to support patients through ART procedures with updated knowledge.
