Welcome Message
Dr Clare Boothroyd
ASPIRE President
On behalf of the Board of ASPIRE I am delighted to welcome you to ASPIRE 2025 in Singapore.
ASPIRE growing in a meteoric way, in its membership, engagement, educational offerings and international standing, as it should in the Asian century. ASPIRE has strong connections with Singapore: it is where our secretariat is located and the home to one of our founding members, PC Wong, who is Chair of the Local Organizing Committee. Singapore is famous for its airport and easy access by air, and Marina Bay is the ultimate modern location in the city. The innovative and stimulating scientific programme developed under the leadership of TC Li, together with superb surroundings, means this meeting will be a blockbuster. I am confident everyone will take home something to share in our workplaces and improve what we do in everyday lives.
Please share in our teaming together and Aspiring to excellence meeting.
I look forward to seeing you all face to face again.
Prof TC Li
Chairman, ASPIRE 2025 Scientific Committee
On behalf of the scientific committee, I do wish to extend a very warm welcome to all of you to join our next ASPIRE annual congress in Singapore. The committee has put together an excellent program for you. There will be a Bruno Lunenfeld memorial lecture to be delivered by Professor Joop Laven on “Interrogation of Big (Genetic) Data and How It Changes Reproductive Medicine”, accompanied by 7 keynote lectures on various contemporary topics to be given by outstanding speakers who are experts in their own field. In addition, there are many more stimulating lectures in the pre-congress courses, concurrent sessions, how-to sessions and lively debates. The theme of our congress is Teaming Together: ASPIRE-Ing to Excellence as we firmly believe that successful team building is a most important key to further progress, leading to the delivery of an ever better standard of care. For that reason, we particularly welcome the participation of nurses and counsellors to interact with us in our congress to help us achieve our goal. So, do come along – it surely is an occasion not to be missed!
Prof PC Wong
Chairman, ASPIRE 2025 Local Organizing Committee
On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, I wish to welcome everyone in the field of reproductive medicine to the 14th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) to be held in Singapore from 1-4 May 2025.
The last time the Congress was held in Singapore was the 2nd Congress in 2008. Since then, it has grown to become the premier annual meeting in reproduction in Asia-Pacific. The 2025 Congress promises an extensive scientific program including sessions on the newer special interest groups of counselling and fertility nursing.
It will be held at the Suntec Convention Center which is the ideal venue for an international meeting with its excellent facilities and its proximity to good hotels, shopping and dining locations.
We did not hold a live congress for 2 years during the COVID pandemic and I am sure many of us missed the face-to-face interactions during a congress. Singapore is ideally suited for all of us to meet again to renew our ties, friendship and connections. Participants from most countries do not require a visa for short stays and are able to have direct flights. The Local Organising Committee look forward to welcome you to a joyous reunion in Singapore.
See you in May 2025!
